Trained at the School of Visual Arts at the University of Panama, he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis on Visual Arts and a specialization in Drawing and Painting in 2009, a Higher Technician in Human Resources, a Professorship in Diversified Secondary Education and a Postgraduate Degree in Higher Education at the University of Panama, with a view to specializing in a Master’s Degree in Arts. He was a Drawing and Painting professor at the School of Plastic Arts at the National Institute of Culture. He currently works as a Fine Arts Professor at the Ministry of Education.
In 2005-2006 he participated in the «Dance for All» Project organized by the University of Panama and founded by Kiwanis International, exalting Panamanian children.
He has participated in several collective exhibitions, including the Caja de Ahorros exhibition in 2007, the “10 Decades of Analogue Advances in the Visual Arts” exhibition at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and was a judge in the “Skate and Music” Drawing and Painting competition at the National Institute of Culture, Center for Diversified Arts, 2014. Hotel Riande “Fashion and Art with Entrepreneurs” Granada, 2015, Club Unión “Juegos Florales” 2014, Expo-Docente, School of Plastic Arts, I.N.A.C, 2014. Solo exhibitions, “My Panama and Something More” at the Caja de Ahorros de casa Matriz, 2012, Master’s and Postgraduate Building of the University of Panama, 2013. First place in the Visual Arts contest, Faculty of Fine Arts, charcoal pencil drawing modality, 2003, participated in the «Art Therapy» Auction of the Museum of Contemporary Art held at Miramar Panama, 2015 and taught the professional colored pencils course at the MAC, 2015.
He began with the charcoal pencil technique portraying social issues that influence our society and the world, several of his works in this technique (oil pencils/Derwent), were acquired by the Lee family, owners of the Lung Fung Palace Restaurant and by the owner of the ArtAmericas Gallery, Mr. Lloyd Rubin, former investment banker, who later donated them to a Foundation in the United States (The Art Appreciation Foundation) and One of them is in France**, acquired by a private buyer through the Gallery.
Several of his works from the collection of «National Birds» are in Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico, and have been exhibited at the Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz Cultural Center, at the «Art in Your Hands» Exhibition, and at Glesborg, Denmark. He is currently working on the development of crafts from cocobolo wood, one of the 10 finest woods in the world.
